Today the Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Children's Services, the Hon Bill Shorten, launched our report 'Who Says I Can't Sing? Musical Justice for People with Disabilities'. The launch included playing a CD track recorded by the music therapy group and a live interactive performance typical of our Music Access Program. There's a lot of talk about social inclusion at the moment, but not a lot of it I actually see happening. Music can be a great vehicle for creating community connections but it won't happen by accident and there is still much work to do.
