A Place for Disability

Spent yesterday with a fantastic and diverse group of people with disabilities talking about social inclusion. People with disabilities often face multiple and complex barriers to full participation in society. The truth is that if we are to seriously tackle these barriers, it will be an expensive and long-term task. However, if we really believe that everyone has a right to share the benefits of society then it is a task that we must undertake.

It is so encouraging to read yet another blog with someone interested in the problems of others.

There seems to be a common theme in The Salvation Army world which is about Social Injustice and what The Salvation Army can do about it.

It is really good to see us returning to our "grass roots"
